KnindProject – GeoChess

Geochess is the name of the first ever game created for the knindproject.
Its chess but with altered pieces to make it possible for the blind to feel them and seperate them.
The pieces are specially made for the knindproject gameboard and allow for smooth playing for everyone with or without sight.

Geochess is not different then normal chess.
With the exception of the different looks of course!

here are the chances that mirror the normall chess game.
The Cube = The Rooks
The Triangles = The Knights
The Ovals = The Bishops
The Cylinder without ball = The Queen
The Cylinder with ball = The King
The Ball with flat top = The pawns

For more easy setup use the Knindproject Rescalers to cover the entire outer ring of the board

• Place the gameboard on a table and make sure all 4 parts are connected.
• Now collect all the pieces with the round base and seperate them from the 8sided base pieces
• Start with the round pieces then repeat on the other side with the 8sided pieces
• Take one side and find the second row and place a cube piece on the 2th slot.
• Now place a triangle piece in the 3th slot
• Now place a Oval piece in the 4th slot
• Next place the Cylinder with ball on the 5th slot
• Place the Cylinder without ball on the 6th slot
• Place a Oval piece on the 7th slot
• Place a Triangle piece on the 8th slot
• Place a Cube piece on the 9th slot
• Now fill the 2th row with the Ball with flat top pieces in front of the just placed pieces.
• Repeat this process on the other side of the board with the 8sided pieces
